Our North Carolina Golf Course directory has been divided into three  geographic regions.  The Mountain region includes all courses in the western part of the state. The Piedmont region includes courses located between the Charlotte Metro area and the Pinehurst area.  The Coastal region includes all courses east of Raleigh and Pinehurst.

The Mountains area of North Carolina includes the following cities:  Asheville, Boone/Blowing Rock, Cashiers, Highlands, Hendersonville, Lenoir, Linville, Maggie Valley, Murphy and Waynesville.  This region includes golf courses from some of the the most famous designers in the world.  You will see courses from designers such as Donald Ross, Tom Fazio and Ellis Maples.  Come and enjoy the beautiful cool season grasses and speedy bent grass greens that the mountains have to offer.  Also you will notice the mountain streams and hilly terrain making your golf experience in the mountains one of the more memorable you will ever have.

The Piedmont area of North Carolina includes the following cities:  Charlotte, Durham, Greensboro, Hickory, High Point, Morganton, Pinehurst, Raleigh, Southern Pines and Winston Salem.  In this region you experience courses with Bermuda Fairways and a mix of Bermuda/Bent grass greens.  This area has been home to several PGA Tour stops including the US Open hosted by Pinehurst No. 2.  Whether you are looking for a golf and nightlife or just all day golf, the Piedmont region of North Carolina has everything you will be looking for.  Don’t miss the chance to play desgins from Mike Stranz to Donald Ross.
